Escalator Configurator

You're coordinating a floor opening for an escalator. The inclined travel, horizontal landings, truss and pits all occupy different parts of the section; changing the floor-to-floor rise changes the commitment in plan.

At the assumed 30-degree incline, horizontal travel equals rise divided by tan(30°). Watch the plan and section move together as the rise changes. The landing, truss and pit allowances here are explicit placeholders; the selected product’s planning drawings supply the actual support, opening and clearance dimensions.
